2020. WOW - what a year! Someone recently said that if 2020 was a drink it would be a Colonoscopy Prep. This year was also a Leap Year - with 29 days in February, 300 days in March, 5 years in April. Although there have been numerous challenges (worldwide), there have been several wins here at VisionAmp, and those wins are certainly worth celebrating!
We started the year by launching several new websites - the first one being Mountain Home Heat and Air - followed by White River Inn, Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Regional Housing Authority and dozens more! This entire year seemed like a website creation assembly line, giving birth week after week!
The first step our team takes with every customer is to capture their goals and wishes, then take these ideas and dreams and turn them into a “website that works.” This is who we are and this is what we do. Month after month more sites were launched, finishing these past few weeks with Jon's Guide Service, Baxter County Juvenile Services, the Alpha House Shelter, Robert’s Off Road just to name a few. With Google now giving a rank push for all “HTTPS” websites, VisionAmp was among the first in the state to have all of our websites secured with an SSL Certificate. Without this, Google will flag your site as unsafe, displaying a “NOT SECURE” warning in the URL bar. The number of websites you see that are not secure is astounding. Some estimates indicate that ⅔ of the web could be flagged as unsafe in the near future. No one wants to hear that a site they visited was hacked or compromised - and no business owner wants it to be their website on the front page of the paper after being hacked.
Regardless of how 2020 has treated us, there is still much to be thankful for!
